“If the job’s worth doing . . . it’s worth doing right” –– that’s Vandenbosch Brewing

For founder Mark Vandenbosch, growing up in the Midwest taught him to embrace the honesty, integrity, and character of both hard work and high quality –– while appreciating the dynamic personalities that make up the heart of America.

In Mark’s mind, beer should be just as unique as the people who drink it . . . overflowing with a personality all of its own.

And so in 2008, Mark began his journey and lifelong love affair with finding the most unique, perfect brew –– and Vandenbosch Brewing Club was born.

Beginning with a simple brewing kit and a small kettle in his kitchen, Mark was determined to understand the brewing process . . . how to enhance it, manipulate it, and even personalize it –– making traditional beers EVEN better.

Vandenbosch Brewing Club, now located in Winfield, IL, has quickly grown in popularity . . . as thirsty patrons continue to demand more of Mark’s home made, award winning brew.

With such a dramatic increase in demand, Mark has partnered with process and mechanical guru Michael Skrzypczak –– improving efficiencies while still maintaining the high quality that patron pallets have grown to love, and brewing new tastes you won’t experience anywhere else.

An art. A craft. Developing brews to suit every taste . . . and fit any style. No matter who you are or how you drink it, there’s a beer that is right for you.

So sit back, relax, and savor every drop.

Who are these guys?

Mark

Mark serves as head brewer, recipe designer, chemist and biologist behind Vandenbosch Brewing Club. Mark became interested in craft beers when his roommates in college introduced him to Fat Tire. After trying Fat Tire, Mark and his roommates made it a goal to try as man craft beers as they could get their hands on. While doing this Mark developed a very discerning pallet and came to the conclusion that he could replicate a beer of craft brewery and improve on it. It was the gift of a Mr. Beer kit that sparked Mark’s passion for brewing and led to the formulation if his own recipes. Within four short years Mark developed the skills to brew beers that rivaled the pros and it is this dedication that makes Vandenbosch Brewing Club stand out.  Besides brewing Mark is an avid long board rider and enjoys doing almost any outdoor activity from bike riding to taking his dog out for a jog.

Mike

Michael Skrzypczak serves as Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer, general trouble shooter, mechanic, DJ and visionary behind the formation of Vandenbosch Brewing Club.   Mike became interested in craft beer after touring The Red Hook brewery in Seattle while visiting a friend. It wasn’t until this day that he realized the endless variety of flavors that could be achieved from a craft brewery. As time went on he developed a more discerning pallet and is always looking for unique tastes and styles. After re-connecting with Partner and Co-Founder Mark Vandenbosch he was educated further in the process of brewing and began to help mark on his recipes and brewing system. Being a Mechanical Engineering graduate minoring in business, Mike is obsessed with the overall efficiency of the brews and is a perfectionist when it comes to the brewing process itself. This consistency and attention to detail really shows through in the finished result and is one of the many factors that make Vandenbosch brewing award winning. Besides brewing, Mike has always had an interest in entrepreneurship, music, and entertaining.
